Mental Health Education and Awareness for Employees
Overview
Mental illness continues to be one of the most rapidly growing health conditions in society, affecting 1 in 5 Australians in a given year. Although some groups of people are at a greater risk, mental illness does not discriminate and can affect anyone, of any age and background.
Many employees spend a significant portion of their waking hours at work. Mental health education and awareness in the workplace has the power to reduce stigma, and reduced stigma improves organisational culture. Improved organisational culture supports early intervention. Early intervention supports smoother recovery.
This training provides employees with the opportunity to learn and raise awareness about mental health. The primary purpose of this training is to break down the stigma of mental health in the workplace and support employees to make positive choices to support their own mental health and wellbeing.
All sessions are conducted by our team of experienced trainers.
